I have a bachelors degree in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology. I have been in Research and Development in the plastics industry for the last 10 years, with 8 at SEKISUI KYDEX. My focus has been on new product development for the aviation and mass transit industries and involves flame and smoke testing of these products. I have been involved with our FSTLab since its creation and currently manage the day-to-day activities. An interesting fact is that I have always been a bit of a firebug, now I spend a lot of my days burning materials to test them for fire safety!
