I have always been interested in manufacturing. Understanding and learning how stuff is made captivates me, and so I decided to pursue a path that lets me explore that. I remember watching shows like How It’s Made as a kid, and I imagine most kids would find it boring but I could watch it for hours. Then in high school I began learning about CNC machining and 3D printing. Since then, I have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Design Technology and an Associates degree in Computer Aided Design from the Pennsylvania College of Technology. With the skillset I’ve learned I go beyond just understanding how stuff is made, and now I can design and manufacture finished parts such as we do here in the appLab™.
